About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for designing beautiful, user-centred experiences. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
* Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
* Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs.
* Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve existing applications.
* Develop and maintain design systems and UI kits.
* Ensure the consistency of visual elements across different products and platforms.
* Use a data-driven approach to make informed design decisions.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
* Provide support during the implementation phase to ensure the designs are accurately translated into code.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
* Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
* Prototyping: Experience in creating interactive prototypes using tools like InVision, Figma, or Adobe XD.
* Wireframing: Strong skills in wireframing and creating low-fidelity mockups.
* Visual Design: Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
* User Research: Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback.
* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (though coding is not required).
* Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
* Experience with creating and maintaining design systems.
* Understanding of Agile methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
