We are looking for a Nurse or an Allied Health Professional (e.g. Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist) to join our enthusiastic Neuro-developmental Team based at the Newberry Child Development Centre
The successful applicant will have considerable experience of working with children and young people with Neuro-developmental Disorders and have experience of working within a diagnostic team or contributing to one. Ideally, we seek a candidate who has already completed ADOS 2 training and has experience of assessing a child’s neuro-developmental skills in a range of settings, but willingness to further train would be considered.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and have experience of having difficult conversations with families. They will be able to advise on a wide range of neurodevelopmental friendly strategies. The candidate will have knowledge of the possible differential diagnoses and will be able to use this understanding to support their decision making.
