Responsibilities
* Lead the kitchen, crafting each pizza with care while supporting the team to deliver the best service possible.
* Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection, leading by example.
* Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
* Mentor and train junior members of the team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
* Handle dough preparation, topping pizzas with fresh ingredients, and firing them in wood ovens.
* Maintain composure during busy shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Take responsibility for stock management and food prep, ensuring everything is ready for service.
Qualifications & Expectations
* Experience as a Pizza chef or in a professional kitchen environment.
* Confidence in handling fresh dough and working with a wood‑fired oven.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and support your team.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, staying calm and focused under pressure.
