The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their career within an innovative, collaborative, and experienced multi-professional team.</p><p>The Service is committed to excellent symptom management and high quality emotional support, enabling patients to be cared for according to their preferences. The team works closely with colleagues across primary, secondary, and social care, as well as the local hospice provider.</p><p>The role involves developing advanced skills in the assessment and management of palliative patients, working towards autonomous clinical practice. This includes contributing to diagnosis, treatment planning, and supportive care, as well as communicating complex and distressing information. The post holder will work closely with a wide multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high quality care that supports patients and families to achieve the best possible quality of life.</p><p>We have a strong commitment to personal and professional development and offer opportunities for continued learning and further academic study.
