The Flexi Group are now looking for Home Delivery drivers for an immediate start within the Saltash area.
Working for a leading supermarket we are now looking for a reliable and customer-focused Home Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers' homes in a timely, safe, and professional manner. You'll play a key part in ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
* Deliver groceries to customers' homes on time and in excellent condition.
* Pre planned route confirmed via handheld device.
* Load and unload shopping orders safely and efficiently.
* Physically able as heavy lifting of crates etc may be necessary.
* Provide a high level of customer service at every doorstep.
* Handle customer queries or issues in a polite and professional manner.
* Check orders for accuracy before delivery.
* Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
* Report any issues such as traffic delays, incorrect orders, or vehicle problems promptly.
* Follow all road safety rules and company policies.
* Holiday and pension opportunities.
* No more than 6 points and no endorsements on licence.
* A DBS check will be required for this role and our client carries out regular alcohol and drug testing.
* Potential perm opportunity for right person.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (Category B).
* Friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to lift and carry grocery bags or boxes when needed.
* Strong time management and reliability.
* Previous delivery experience is required —training completed in store.
Shift timings: AM Shift 06:00-14:00 PM Shift 14:00-22:00.
Pay Rates:
Standard: £12.21ph.
Please note that this position is PAYE only and inclusive of holiday.
