Role: Electrical Estimator - ICP & EVAreas Considered: Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, MidlandsStarting Salary: Up to £50K Our client, an award winning and fast growing specialist of ICP & EV infrastructure is looking to expand their technical team by bringing onboard an Electrical Estimator who has experience within the ICP / EV sectors. This role comes with tonnes of growth potential opportunities to upskill further in this niche market.The Electrical Estimator will work on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections, to full onsite builds and installations. This role will require you to manage multiple tender enquiries across a number of different clients and you will be responsible preparing full tender packs which will be reviewed by the Tendering Manager.Key Duties:Completion of tenders and agreeing final bids/submission with Tendering ManagerEvaluation of tender enquiry documentation received from clients and ensure all relevant/correct information has been providedMaintain good working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationshipsAttending Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and PO’s issuedRequesting asset values from our IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the projectMeasuring designs using either PDF or google maps to ensuring accurate take offs are recordedEnsuring internal tendering trackers are kept up to date.Skills & Experience Required:Experience of Electrical estimating within the Electrical Utilities/ICP industryAbility to comprehend electrical specifications/schemesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlinesCompetent with Microsoft Office applicationsThorough understanding of ICP industry, including DNO and IDNO processes and the benefits or working with IDNO’sA good understanding of electrical installation principals in both LV & HV works, including substation installations, HV cabling, ducting etcAn understanding of Street works requirements for offsite works/understanding of NRSWABid/tender writing experiencePackage & Opportunities:Starting salary up to £50K.25 days annual leave + bank holidays.Remote/hybrid working opportunities & flexible working hours.Excellent career progression opportunities.Flexible working opportunities
