The Role:
We have an opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for:
* Providing administrative support to the directors, surveyors, and wider team
* Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
* Maintaining accurate records of projects, logging enquires and managing initial project administration.
* Raising purchase orders, invoices, and track job costs where required
* Coordinating team schedules, meetings, and office logistics
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company procedures
* Welcoming visitors and act as the first point of contact for clients
* Conducting desktop utility searches to support survey planning
* Arranging travel and accommodation (flights, ferries, trains, hotels) for surveyors working away
* Managing company expense and reconcile monthly statements
* Completing new supplier onboarding forms and maintain electronic/online portals
* Coordinating training for surveyors as required
* Scheduling and overseeing general office maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, roofing)
About you
* Have previous experience in an administrative or office coordinator role?
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills?
* Have strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)?
* Have experience in construction, engineering, or surveying environments? *desirable but not essential
* Have a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn?
