We are now looking for aTransport Trainer to drive the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of all transport-related training across our operation.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of all transport-related training, including classroom sessions, practical training, inductions, and refresher modules
* Ensure all training meets internal standards and external regulatory requirements, including DVSA and health & safety legislation
* Act as the subject matter expert for transport training, advising operational leaders and supporting continuous improvement
* Coach and mentor drivers and transport colleagues to build capability, confidence, and professionalism
* Maintain accurate training records and documentation to ensure full audit readiness
* Identify training gaps and implement performance‑boosting interventions
* Support accident reduction, compliance improvement, and operational efficiency through effective training and feedback
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Experience delivering transport, driver, or compliance training in a logistics or transport environment
* Strong knowledge of transport regulations, including Working Time Directive, tachograph rules, and vehicle safety
* Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels
* High attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and confidence working with documentation and audit requirements
* A valid LGV Licence (C or C+E)
