We are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets. Our expertise cover the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end: design, manufacturing, maintenance and repair. What you'll be doing: - Build and set up of test equipment for landing gear testing - Assembly and fault-finding of electrical installations (e.g. PLC, HMI, Wiring harnesses), with the aid of electrical schematics - Assembly, fault finding and maintenance of hydraulic systems - Compiling electrical schematics - Calibration of transducers - Strain-gauge installation - Setting up data acquisition and control systems for testing - Supporting Test Engineering facility activities relating to Health & Safety and maintenance Year 1: You will spend time at a private local engineering training provider where the relevant qualification units will be delivered and assessed. Year 2-3: Delivered and assessed within Safran where you will achieve a Level 3 Diploma. To support individual Development Plans, all apprentices will spend allocated time to work in different departments according to training needs.
