About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall running and success of the nursery. You’ll lead by example, create a positive team culture, and ensure every child receives the very best start in life.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, caring, and high-quality environment.
Lead, motivate and inspire a team of Early Years professionals.
Deliver and embed the EYFS curriculum effectively across all age groups.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external partners.
Manage recruitment, training, appraisals, and staff development.
Maintain occupancy levels and support financial and business targets.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain readiness for inspection at all times.
About You
We’re looking for a strong, supportive leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a proven ability to deliver excellence.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred).
Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager within an Early Years setting.
Excellent understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and statutory requirements.
Confident leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
