Job Description

Anderson Knight is proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation currently undergoing an exciting phase of transformation. We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Adviser to join their dynamic team.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional to take ownership of a broad generalist remit, supporting the entire employee lifecycle and playing a key role in driving a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:


* Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
* Support and coach managers to strengthen their HR knowledge and effectively resolve employee issues.
* Lead on absence and welfare case management, including occupational health referrals and ongoing support.
* Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and manage the relationship with external occupational health providers.
* Advise on performance management, learning and development needs, and role development; contribute to wider engagement strategies.
* Collaborate with internal departments to support cohesive communication and aligned HR practices.
* Liaise with payroll and finance to address pay queries, support salary benchmarking, and oversee contract and benefits administration.
* Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures; support training delivery and ensure ongoing legislative compliance.
* Support the development of recruitment and retention strategies; ensure processes are robust, effective, and audit-ready.
* Produce regular HR reports, analyse workforce data, and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, health and safety standards, and data protection regulations.
* Provide effective HR service delivery that aligns with budget targets and performance indicators.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, representing the HR function with professionalism.


Candidate Profile:


* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a regulated or fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence at all levels.
* Confident managing complex casework and interpreting HR data.
* CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
