* Job Title: Cover Supervisor
* Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our close-knit team at Underley Garden School, part of Options Autism.
About the role
The main objective of the Cover Supervisor is to provide high-quality teaching and learning cover across the school. Responsibilities include leading whole classes, managing challenging behaviours, and ensuring pupils meet their lesson objectives. This role is crucial in maintaining consistency and continuity of education, especially during teacher absences or other school activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Cover timetabled classes and general absences
* Deliver lessons and manage classroom behaviour
* Ensure students are focused and meet lesson objectives
* Prepare classrooms for lessons
You will also contribute to:
* Development and implementation of the school's policies for pupils’ personal and social development
* Effective pupil induction and baseline assessments
* Promotion of good behaviour and discipline among pupils
