Job description
The role:
1. Provide 1 hour of one-to-one tuition per week
2. Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions
3. Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of the student
4. Monitor progress and provide feedback as required
The ideal candidate will:
5. Hold a recognised teaching or tutoring qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
6. Have experience supporting KS4 / GCSE-level students
7. Be patient, reliable, and supportive
8. Be able to build positive working relationships quickly
9. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
