I’m currently working with a client seeking Design Verification Engineers (all levels) to join their growing team in either Newbury or Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on digital verification for complex mixed-signal ICs, contributing to cutting-edge semiconductor projects within a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and develop IC verification plans and test cases
* Lead verification activities to ensure high-quality IC delivery
* Build and maintain reusable UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches
* Drive improvements in verification methodologies and flows
* Support and mentor engineers within the team
* Contribute across the full design and verification lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience
* Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
* Experience verifying complex mixed-signal ICs / SoCs
* Strong background in metric-driven verification (coverage, constrained random, etc.)
* Proficiency in SystemVerilog (incl. SVA) and UVM or equivalent methodologies
* Strong debugging skills across RTL and testbench environments
Nice to Have
* Formal verification experience
* Scripting skills (Tcl, Perl, Python, etc.)
* Power-aware verification (CPF/UPF)
* Understanding of OOP and design patterns

* Hybrid working model (typically 2+ days onsite)
* Candidates should be within commuting distance or open to relocation
