What will you be doing?
The People Apprentice will support a wide range of People activities, working closely with People Team colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation. You will gain exposure to employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, people systems and data, performance management, and People projects, while developing the skills to provide effective, people-focused support.
What will you bring to the role?
1. Significant experience within an office based administration/coordination role supporting multiple stakeholders across departments
2. Proven experience with working with systems and data, including reporting tools
3. Demonstrable interest in the people profession
4. Motivation to develop a career in the people profession and complete the Level 5 People Partner apprenticeship
5. Able to communicate information clearly and professionally, explaining guidance in a way that supports understanding and good decision-making.
6. Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders
7. Excellent Organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills
8. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
9. IT literacy, including Microsoft Office, Excel (including formulas and data tools) and utilising AI tools
It would be great if you had:
10. Understanding of HR best practice and employment law
11. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures
12. Experience with working with People systems and data
