Working with various individuals including the Commercial Manager, Brand Managers, Inventory Planners and Commercial Analysts, The Supply Chain Assistant will be given hands on, practical training from professionals who understand the importance of developing skills on the job. You can expect exposure to every stage of the supply chain process, from product set up and purchasing, to the importance of stock optimisation, data accuracy and communication. Your primary objective will be to support the commercial supply chain function, by providing essential operational and administrative support. Every day could teach you something new about supply chain, not from a textbook, but from experience! (The best way to learn, in my humble opinion). If you'd like to be that steady link between suppliers, data and delivery, keep reading The Supply Chain Assistant's duties will include: Collaborating with colleagues across operations, finance, purchasing and sales to keep information and stock moving smoothly Creating, updating and maintaining accurate supplier and product data within the companys ERP system Supporting order fulfilment; tracking shipments, managing back orders and assisting with customs or delivery paperwork Identifying process gaps or data issues early and helping to find practical solutions Creating reports and insights that support day-to-day decision-making within the commercial team Youll also get involved in other tasks when required, contributing where you can, to add value across the wider commercial team. Ideas and smarter ways of working are encouraged, giving you space to learn, grow and contribute. What we're looking for - criteria Ideally you will hold a third level qualification, although this is not essential. You should be educated to GCSE level as a minimum. You dont need direct procurement supply chain experience for this role; that can be taught.
