CS 30869 Mechanical Fitter Knaresborough Salary: £34,000 + 5 % bonus + benefits Alecto Recruitment is working with their client looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their Renewable Energy Plant on a full-time basis in Knaresborough. This role has 2 shift patterns which are: Week 1 - 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday Week 2 - 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Maintenance: Rectify problems on mechanical assets such as conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, valves, and cranes, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency. Fabrication & Workshop Duties: Carry out fabrication work and general workshop duties, including operating workshop machinery for fabrication and refurbishment tasks. Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance work, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Outage Participation: Assist with and actively participate in planned outages, ensuring efficient and effective execution of maintenance tasks. Communication: Promptly communicate problems and concerns through line management to ensure quick and effective resolution.
