The Contracts Manager role includes:
* Motivating and incentivizing trade labor, and managing subcontractors for specialist works when needed
* Instilling ownership and responsibility within your team (Forepersons, Tradespersons) to deliver reactive repairs and void works to high standards, on time, within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction and KPIs are met
* Monitoring and enforcing Health and Safety measures to protect yourself, your team, and your customers
* Building strong internal relationships across teams and with the housing client to ensure collaborative and successful project delivery
What we seek in a candidate:
* Experience managing a direct trade team in a similar industry, such as responsive maintenance, disrepair, or minor works in residential/housing sectors
* Ability to multitask, find practical solutions, and manage multiple KPIs to meet targets
* Knowledge of Health and Safety standards; SMSTS certification required
* Understanding of operational impacts on cost and risk management
* Trade background (NVQ level 2 or equivalent) preferred but not essential
