The Role We are looking for a dedicated SEND Instructor to deliver high-quality, learner-centred lessons. You will support students’ academic progress, personal development and wellbeing through adaptive teaching, ongoing assessment and strong collaboration with colleagues and families. The role involves planning, tracking progress, and creating a safe, engaging learning environment that promotes independence and confidence. Requirements Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or above GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) Experience supporting SEND (e.g. SLD, ASC, PMLD or Post-16) Strong communication and organisational skills Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons Assess, monitor and track learner progress Provide regular feedback to learners Support EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Build positive relationships with staff, families and external agencies Contribute to curriculum development and academy life Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing standards are upheld What we offer As a valued employee of ABC Teachers, you will receive: Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
