The Opportunity
?? Manchester
?? 12-Month Contract + Extensions
?? £750-£850 per day (Outside IR35, All-In)
?? Immediate Start Available
? Monday-Friday (10-hour days, early finish Fridays) + optional weekend work
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commissioning activities on HV/EHV substations (132kV-400kV)
* Carry out protection, control and SCADA testing
* Develop commissioning procedures and test documentation
* Support energisation, handover and project delivery
* Ensure compliance with SSEN/SPEN safety standards
Requirements
? SSEN or SPEN Authorisation
? SSE Cat 1 & Cat 3 Authorisation
? Proven HV/EHV substation commissioning experience
? Strong knowledge of protection relays, control systems and SCADA
? Experience working under UK DNO/TSO safety rules
