Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
The information below relates to just 1 of the 3 Services we require Support for We are three lovely ladies ranging from the ages of 52 to 80. We each have unique personalities and different interests but we have a happy and beautiful home and we have known each other and lived together for years! We are all pretty mobile around our house. Between us we face many challenges such as having hearing/visual impairments, autism and learning disabilities but that does not stop us from living our best lives. We have a caring and pro-active team that are trained to work with us and help us to achieve our best lives possible, our staff team are constantly undergoing new and updated training to make sure our support is dynamic yet consistent.
What is important to us
16. What are we proud of? We are all immensely proud of our home! All three of us like a clean and clear environment and take pride in the way our home looks. Between us we have selected the colour schemes, the furniture and the ornaments to reflect each of our personalities.
17. We like a variety of activities but our favourite ones include: Cinema and Theatre trips, weekly massage hair dressers trips and new places, Baking, Pub lunches!!
18. Other interests that we have also include animals arts and crafts indoor activities
19. We aspire to continue to travel and discover new places! In the last year we have all been on holiday and have enjoyed trying different activities and seeing new surroundings.
20. All three of us LOVE going into our local town! Quite often as soon as a staff member starts shift, we will be asking to go into our local town whether that’s for a walk in the park, a pub lunch, to stock up on bubble bath or to buy arts and crafts. one of us is independent and will go visit the town by her self or her family
21. We would describe ourselves as bubbly, loveable and like to have a laugh.
22. We need people who are confident, reliable, patient (as well as speaking loudly and clearly), caring and most importantly have a great sense of humour. We need people who are pro-active in looking for new activities and places of interest and people that will support us to maintain our lovely house
