Summary
We are seeking a Senior Care Worker to join our growing team at New Horizons Homecare Services in central Barnsley. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care and support to our service users, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and lead a team of Care Workers to deliver high-quality care.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans for service users.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and CQC standards.
* Foster effective communication with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Provide training and support to junior staff members.
* Monitor the well-being of service users and report any changes in condition.
* Maintain accurate documentation related to care services provided.
* Drive to various locations as required for service delivery.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in a senior care role or similar position.
* Strong understanding of care home operations and senior care practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
* Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
* Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Valid driving license is preferred.
