About the Role: As a Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and supporting ipTEST products both at our facility and on customer sites worldwide. You’ll provide technical support via phone, email, and online meetings, create documentation, deliver training, and relay customer feedback to drive product improvements. This role involves regular international travel, including North America, North Africa, and Asia. Key Responsibilities: Provide customer support via online meetings, phone, and email Create and maintain documentation (manuals, guides, FAQs, troubleshooting notes) Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal teams Deliver product training to customers and colleagues Debug and repair complex electronic circuits down to component level (through-hole and SMD), using schematics Perform system installation, commissioning, set-to-work, repairs and maintenance on customer sites. What You’ll Bring (Required): Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience Strong component-level fault-finding skills using circuit diagrams Proven repair experience with both through-hole and SMD components Familiarity with electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, DVMs, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently Willingness to travel internationally at short notice Nice to Have: Experience with power-conversion topologies (inverters, DC-DC, PFC) Knowledge of IGBT/SiC/GaN devices and high-voltage system Background in renewable energy, EV charging, or industrial drives Project management or team-leadership experience What’s in it for you: Direct impact on product reliability and customer success Collaborative environment with engineering and marketing teams Opportunities for professional growth and career progression This is a full-time position with competitive salary and excellent benefits.
