The Role
International Trade Manager
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the International commercial strategy, identifying new markets, customers, and regions to drive distribution, sales, and profit growth across trade and retail channels
* Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, acting as the primary commercial contact and ensuring alignment with business objectives
* Identify and unlock new distribution opportunities, including entry into new countries, channels, and strategic partners
* Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, NPD, Marketing, Regulatory) to ensure seamless execution across all international markets
* Manage forecasting and demand planning for international accounts, ensuring accurate volume projections and stock availability
* Ensure compliance with all market-specific regulatory, labelling, and import/export requirements
* Drive consistency of brand positioning and customer experience across all international channels
Core Competencies
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in international sales, business development, or account management
* Track record of budget ownership and delivering against revenue and profit targets
* Strong understanding of international trade compliance, export regulations, and customs processes
* Experience leading Joint Business Planning with retail or distribution partners
* Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level
* Driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
