Are you an experienced social worker ready to take on complex and high-risk cases with confidence and compassion?

Cumberland Council is seeking a Level 3 Social Worker to join our Children and Families team. In this vital role, you’ll work directly with children, young people, and their families to assess needs, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored support that improves lives. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-agency environment where your expertise will help shape care plans and influence positive outcomes.

We’re looking for a qualified social worker with at least three years’ post-qualification experience, a deep understanding of child development and safeguarding, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is: Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s and Adults Barred List check.
