Dog Daycare Trainer/Carer Job Description
Join our friendly and supportive team and deliver the best experience for our furry and human clients, working in a best-in-class dog daycare school environment, with plenty of activities and equipment.
* You will be primarily responsible for the supervision, management, training, safety and care for a group of dogs and/or puppies at our day and boarding school for dogs.
* You'll mostly be caring for eight or fewer dogs at a time, meaning that you will be able to develop stronger bonds and enjoy more meaningful interactions with your four-legged students.
* You'll drive the school bus to collect dogs in the morning and return them home after school. You'll also help with maintenance and cleaning of indoor and outdoor classroom areas and other areas of the facility as assigned. Work vehicle provided
* You'll get full training on the job as well as opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop professionally
* You'll have the potential to progress your career and earn more money, as our business grows and you take on more responsibilities
* We also provide some fantastic branded clothing to our staff.
* Hours: 6.30am - 4.30pm
Skills & Experience
* Previous work experience in caring for dogs, preferably in a dog daycare environment
* Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
* Proven ability to follow instructions and develop new skills and knowledge
* Previous work experience demonstrating dependability
* Evidence of customer service skills
* Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Flexible with a can-do attitude
