An exciting opportunity for an Operations/Field Service Manager is available in Hertfordshire with a well-established organisation that is part of a large European Group. This company specializes in providing high-temperature boiler systems to industrial clients across the UK from their head office.
In this role, you will manage a team of up to 18 Field Service Engineers located throughout the country. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting team members
- Providing training on bespoke product ranges
- Training team members transitioning from different HVAC industries, including commercial or gas-related sectors
- Mentoring the team
- Sharing your skills and knowledge
- Assisting the team in developing from standard Engineers to skilled professionals capable of installation and commissioning
While this is primarily an office-based role at the head office in Hertfordshire, it will also involve field visits to meet the team.
We are looking for an experienced Manager, preferably a chemical or mechanical engineer, with a background in the commercial or industrial boiler industry or oil and gas experience.
