Sales Manager
£45,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, NN17 1QE, Permanent, hybrid working, immediate start.
Due to continued success and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a small, independent manufacturing company. You will support the Managing Director by winning new business across the UK:
* Proactively manage the sales cycle daily, including visiting prospects, conducting meetings, making sales calls, and sending marketing emails and social media outreach.
* Attend sales visits at customer sites and invite prospects to your location to showcase products in person.
* Develop and implement sales plans to meet targets and KPIs, and prepare sales forecasts with the Managing Director.
* Maintain and update the internal CRM system with accurate decision-maker and influencer contact details.
* Perform all administrative duties related to the role.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience in capital machinery or an engineering environment, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, confident, and professional manner. This is a new standalone role within a growing organization, where you will receive one-on-one support to familiarize yourself with company processes. Suitable previous roles include Sales Executive, UK Sales Manager, or Sales Representative.
