Summary of Duties
Electrical installations and maintenance within both commercial and domestic properties. Planned and reactive electrical service and maintenance. 1 & 3 phase power installations, EICR electrical testing, energy‑saving LED lighting upgrades.
Main Duties
 * Attend service and reactive breakdowns to fault find, diagnose and repair in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
 * Carry out day‑to‑day responsive maintenance, service and repairs as instructed.
 * Make immediate decisions regarding repair requirements when the original job order does not reflect the actual work required and inform the relevant director.
 * Inform the customer when a repair cannot be completed on the first visit and arrange a return visit.
 * Assist in the assembly or installation of air‑conditioning systems or components.
 * Liaise with management and/or client to ensure all work is completed.
Qualifications Required
 * City and Guilds BS7671:2018 Level 3 – Electrical Installations
 * City and Guilds 2391 (2391:52) – Testing and Inspecting (previously 2394/2395)
 * Review after probationary period
 * Paid door‑to‑door – less 30 minutes travel and 1‑hour lunch per day
 * Overtime at time and half
 * OOH Call‑out rota – 1 in 6‑8 weeks paid £100 standby, attended call‑out 1st hour £40 additional hrs time and half
 * 23 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays
