Full time: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus two Saturdays a month
About the role
In this role, it will be your responsibility to maintain an accurate supply of parts and advice to our on-site workshop, sales and retail customers. You will also deliver parts in a timely and accurate manner to our external trade customers.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, and with the ability to communicate effectively to all internal and external Parts customers.
Day-to-day duties
Receiving and organising customer orders and supplied parts within the Parts department
Delivering parts to external customers accurately and in a timely manner while building relationships through effective communication with regular customers
Participating in stock checks and following all company-related process within the Parts department
Providing effective, accurate advice on parts supply to all customers
Providing customers with detailed information about received or delivered parts, either electronically or verbally
Prepare parts for reverse logistics
Communicate discrepancies on stock or parts orders to colleagues, customers, suppliers and management
Essential skills and experience
Basic knowledge of Parts department operations
Basic IT literacy
Full, clean driving licence
Effective listening and communication skills, combined with a desire for accuracy and a strong desire for attention to detail
High regard for customer service at all levels
Not essential but nice to have
Basic knowledge of dealer management system and Microsoft Office applications
Basic knowledge of health and safety at work
Basic knowledge of Central Scotland Road network
