Job Summary
The role supports the training strategy across LHR & LGW cargo, taking responsibility of the clerical area and developing the staff training programme to support both operational and regulatory requirements. Delivering both mandatory and clerical training within a classroom and operational environment to ensure staff competence and compliance with regulatory requirements. Liaising and communicating with the wider training teams throughout the UK and addressing any assistance where required.
Job Requirements
* Successful candidate will have a good understanding of the cargo operation, particularly the in-house and airline IT systems, processes, and procedures
* Full UK/EU Driving Licence
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Absolute discretion and confidentiality
* Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
* Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
Desirable Skills / Experience
* Previous training experience and/or training certification
* Computer literacy i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Patience and Empathy: To show understanding towards delegates that are displaying difficulty in grasping concepts within training sessions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Airline system knowledge
Hours of work
* 37.5 hours per week with a flexible approach to working variable shifts in accordance with the Business Operation
* Based at Heathrow with a requirement to deliver training at all Regional UK locations as necessary
