We are excited to invite applications for the position of Education Facilitator within our dynamic Theatre team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about clinical education and developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. You will play a key role in supporting Healthcare Support Workers, apprentices, student nurses, ODPs, and new team members to build their skills and knowledge, ensuring we provide excellent patient care.
As part of the education team, you will be at the forefront of planning, delivering, and evaluating training programmes designed to meet the diverse learning needs of our clinical workforce. You will work closely with various professional groups and key stakeholders, both within the Trust and externally, to ensure that training is of the highest quality and aligned with the Trust\'s vision and values.
Responsibilities
* Support learning and development by planning, delivering, and evaluating training programmes for the operating department and broader clinical teams.
* Provide mentorship, clinical supervision, and direct support to a range of staff to ensure they have the competencies to deliver high-quality care.
* Assist in the development and delivery of induction programmes, tailored learning plans, and specialty training for all staff in the operating department.
* Collaborate with Clinical Leads, Education Leads, and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of education programmes.
* Contribute to long-term work plans, participate in educational meetings and forums, and help evaluate training activities to continuously improve effectiveness.
