Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper Job, Gloucestershire
An informal family of 5, who are based in the Cotswolds area of Gloucestershire near Tetbury, are seeking a proactive Housekeeper to assist them in their large four-bedroom weekend country home. This is a weekend role, where you will primarily work when the family are in residence, with two days off during the week. Two of the children are studying away from home
They also have a pet cat and a dog. The dog attends daycare and is picked up and dropped off daily. Additionally, the family also employ a gardener and a handyman
Duties include:
1. Daily cleaning, laundry, and ironing
2. Organising the home
3. Running local errands
4. Occasional cooking and food preparation for the youngest child
5. Kitchen support
6. Feeding the dog
Ad hoc child-minding (3 children aged between 11 to 21 years of age)
The ideal candidate will ensure the house runs smoothly, be flexible with hours, and be willing to assist where needed.
Working Days: Thursday - Monday, (Tuesday and Wednesdays as days off)
Working Hours 40 - 45 per week. 9 – 5 pm
(Split shifts may be required when the principals are in residence)
Accommodation: Can be provided locally
Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 GPA
