The role
We are working with a well-established secondary school with a strong academic focus to recruit an English Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. The school places a strong emphasis on literacy, high expectations, and student achievement across KS3–KS5.
This role would suit a confident practitioner able to deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons while maintaining strong classroom routines.

Key responsibilities
6. Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
7. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
8. Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progress
9. Contribute to departmental planning and assessment
The ideal candidate
10. QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
11. Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature
12. Confident classroom management skills
13. Flexible and professional approach to supply or long-term roles
