What will I be doing?
* Lead & Mentor:
Manage and develop a small team of engineers, driving projects forward and improving processes.
* Technical Delivery:
Carry out simulations (electromagnetic, mechanical, acoustical) and oversee testing of assemblies.
* Innovation:
Enhance and maintain state-of-the-art measurement facilities.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with product teams to integrate cutting-edge transducer designs.
* Best Practice:
Produce clear design guidelines, procedures, and reports.
What do I need to be successful?
* Degree in acoustics, physics, or electronic engineering.
* 5–7 years' experience in a similar role with team leadership responsibility.
* Strong knowledge of electrodynamic transducer principles (lumped element modelling, distortion, rub & buzz).
* Skilled in COMSOL (or similar FEA) and the Klippel R&D system.
* Excellent communication and proven ability to lead projects end-to-end.
Bonus skills:
Klippel QC, SolidWorks/NX/Catia, Audio Precision/MLSSA/SoundCheck/Clio, DFMA/DFMEA/FMEA.
