Our Group Data Protection Office are looking for a Data Protection manager to join their team. As Data Protection Manager, you will provide expert advice and guidance on data subject privacy rights and data protection risks (GDPR) across allocated portfolio. You will play an important role in helping to ensure BCA’s compliance with GDPR Chapter III rights managing the response process (data subjects) in collaboration with the business and other external stakeholders. You will support the DPO's presence (internally and externally), including DPO Office inbox management. Key Responsibilities: Provide insight and understanding to ensure BCA meets its financial objectives Data Protection Policy and training - audit take up of training across portfolio; identify remediation steps and alternative delivery methods; monitor implementation progress. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input on the Right to be Forgotten, Data Retention, Customer/Vendor Portal, and Cookie compliance projects. Assist with the maintenance of a Customer/Client Data Processing Agreements data base – an ongoing task. Assist with the maintenance as well as remediation (as required) of Supplier Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). Data Mapping – review all data maps for completeness and correctness and validate with business stewards. Management of the general DPO Office functions across allocated portfolio including International Data Transfers, Subject Access Requests, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Data Breaches, Vendor/Supplier Assessments & Data Subject rights. Develop One Trust (Privacy Management Software) skills, reporting and knowledge to “super user” level Provide support on data protection issues to all business divisions across BCA UK & Europe in line with data protection policies and procedures Produce reports and information summaries as required.
