We are seeking a friendly, confident, dynamic and outgoing nurse to join one of our Collection Teams based in Dundee.

The Post
The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) plays a vital role in blood collection and donor services. The position involves leading a Collection Team, performing venepuncture and medical selection duties, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
The Candidate
You should have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and the ability to lead, manage and work within a team. You must be self‑motivated, proactive, flexible, and able to react positively to changing demands.
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development within the NMC competency framework.
* Knowledge of blood collection processes is advantageous.
* Willingness to undergo a PVG Scheme check; overseas criminal record check may be required for those who lived abroad for more than 12 months in the previous 5 years.
* Must live and remain resident in the UK with entitlement to work.
Location and Working Pattern
The post is based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The role requires extensive travel within the region and variable hours, including regular late evenings and weekends, for a total of 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.
