Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting an organisation based in Tetbury who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a temporary basis for two months. This role is on a part-time basis of 4 days a week, has free parking and hybrid working options available.
Role: Bookkeeper
Start date: End of January
Duration: 2 months
Money: £32,000 - £35,000
Working hours: 30 hours spread across 4 days a week
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and up to date using Xero
* Monthly BACS and supplier payments
* Managing monthly Payroll using 3rd party provider
* Quarterly VAT return
* Maintaining sales ledger - Minimal
* Till and bank reconciliations
Skills/experience needed:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Previous experience managing payroll
* High attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Ability to take accountability and work pro-actively
* Experience using Xero
