Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting an organisation based in Tetbury who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a temporary basis for two months. This role is on a part-time basis of 4 days a week, has free parking and hybrid working options available.
Role: Bookkeeper
Start date: End of January
Duration: 2 months
Money: £32,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Working hours: 30 hours spread across 4 days a week
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and up to date using Xero
2. Monthly BACS and supplier payments
3. Managing monthly Payroll using 3rd party provider
4. Quarterly VAT return
5. Maintaining sales ledger - Minimal
6. Till and bank reconciliations
Skills/experience needed:
7. Previous experience in a similar role
8. Previous experience managing payroll
9. High attention to detail
10. Computer literate
11. Ability to take accountability and work pro-actively
12. Experience using Xero
