Are you an existing housing manager feeling that you can do more with your leadership skills?
As our Home Move Manager you’ll be leading a small, brand new team.You’ll be able to develop and shape the team into a viable service that ultimately supports us to find customers new homes.
You and the team will be delivering a project, making sure that targets are met, within budget to the best possible outcomes, whilst always with a focus on customer service.
You’ll work with your Coordinators, engaging our customers and constantly driving the programme forward.
You will work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external agencies and will help establish the team within the business.
You’ll naturally lead by example, demonstrating strong working practices that you’ve gained through your customer service experience in either housing, development or asset management.
You will be robust in your approach, the role will be challenging at times, but you’ll work collaboratively with all the resources you have to hand to achieve good outcomes.
About you
As mentioned you’ll have a career background in housing, development or asset management as this knowledge will really support the role.
You’ll ideally have an accredited housing qualification, if not you’ll be willing to work towards one. Your knowledge of housing and relevant legislation will really support the role.
Your previous leadership experience will enable you to build a strong team with effective working practices. As a leader you’ll understand that working collaboratively with your Coordinators and utilising their skills and experience will really help to develop the team. You’ll also find time to coach in the moment, motivating the team’s development.
You will be competent in delivering effective project management, adapting to support service improvement and change.
You will have experience in budget and resource management and will be confident in analysing data, to enable you to give assurance to key stakeholders.
This is a role that will cover all our operating regions, so extensive travel should be expected. You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Our operating regions cover Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
