True are partnering with a nationally operating HVAC service specialist supporting some of the UKs largest facilities management clients. With a well-established service division, long-term maintenance contracts, and a strong technical backbone, theyre now looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to take full ownership of a regional engineering team based out of High Wycombe.
This is a senior, office-led leadership role, ideal for someone with strong air conditioning and chiller knowledge who enjoys balancing technical oversight, people management and commercial performance. Youll be stepping into a critical position within the business, with clear long-term progression potential for the right individual.
Service Manager Package:
* £65,000 - £70,000 basic salary
* Performance-related bonus

The Role:
As Service Manager, youll be responsible for overseeing a service team of 15-16 engineers across senior and intermediate levels, ensuring contractual performance, technical quality and commercial targets are consistently met.
You’ll manage day-to-day operations including labour allocation, rotas, quoting, ordering and financial performance, while acting as a key point of contact for major TFM clients. Communication is central to this role, youll need to confidently explain technical issues to both highly knowledgeable stakeholders and non-technical client administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a multi-level HVAC service engineering team
* Oversee service delivery across AC systems, chillers, split systems, VRV/VRF
* Manage quoting, ordering, labour planning, efficiency and rota management
* Monitor operational performance against financial and service KPIs
* Act as a senior client-facing representative, particularly with major TFM providers
* Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally to varied client audiences
* Work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure correct commissioning and standards
* Support engineers with escalation and technical guidance where required
What Were Looking For:
* Strong technical background in air conditioning and chiller systems (essential)
* Experience managing or supervising service engineers in an HVAC environment
* Commercially aware, with experience managing service financials and efficiency
* Confident communicator with strong client-facing capability
* Organised, structured and comfortable leading teams at scale
Support & Progression:
You’ll report directly into the Service Director, with structured support from a highly experienced Operations Manager during your handover period, you wont be expected to know everything from day one.
This role also offers clear long-term progression, with potential to step into a General Manager or Associate Director-level position as the business continues to grow.
