About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Histopathology, you’ll provide expert diagnostic services and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality pathology care.
Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology.
* Manage laboratory services and ensure quality control.
* Support junior doctors and laboratory staff.Contribute to service development and audits.
What We're Looking For
Essential
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* FRCPath or equivalent.
* A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
* UK Right to Work.
* Strong communication and team‑working skills.
Desirable
* CCT in Histopathology (or within 6 months of achieving it).
