Warranty Engineer – Energy from Waste

£60,000 - £65,000
We’re looking for an experienced engineering professional to act as the on-site representative during the warranty phase of Energy-from-Waste projects. This role is critical to ensuring plant reliability, resolving defects efficiently, and supporting high-performance operations in line with both company and client expectations.
The Role
* Act as the on-site lead for warranty and defect resolution activities
* Coordinate contractors, specialists, and client teams to maintain or restore plant operation
* Investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and minimise warranty risk and cost
* Support claims and cost recovery from subcontractors and partners
* Maintain accurate records with clear, timely reporting to stakeholders
* Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and contribute to lessons learned

* Proven experience in plant operation, construction, or commissioning
* Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills
* Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and partners
* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* Proactive, ethical, and self-motivated team player
