Role Profile
To provide a professional investment and treasury service to the ICAEW and its related subsidiaries, which inspires the confidence of management, board and council and members and enables strategic decision-making to be carried out
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of three
* Manage renewal of insurance policies within an agreed governance framework. Manage insurance queries and claims
* Evaluate, develop and implement short to mid-term cash management systems to maximise returns
* Manage relationships with financial service providers
* Monitor bank services and evaluate their fit to ICAEW requirements. Explore opportunities for and propose automation opportunities
* Monitor bank service fees and address service quality issues
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
* Relevant CCAB accountancy qualification and extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting
* Technically strong, demonstrable experience of dealing with complex accounting matters and application of IFRS
* Experience of leading, managing and coaching others
* Proactive and committed, with a real desire to help improve ICAEW and team performance
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
