Training and Technical Support (Training Coordinator) – Green Flag
Hybrid Working: You'll work at our Technical Centre in Birmingham and occasionally from home. You may be required to carry out 2-week blocks of training on site at the Technical Centre in Birmingham.

Responsibilities
* Report into the Technical Trainer and support the Health and Safety Manager; assist the Technical Trainer in delivering comprehensive training for newly appointed patrols during their induction and support existing patrols in expanding technical expertise, including the latest advancements in vehicle technology.
* Conduct training assessments to identify development needs and provide targeted support.
* Deliver hands-on technical training in real-world environments, perform technical assessments and interviews for potential new patrols, and carry out health and safety vehicle audits.
* Support the business to manage compliance on LOLER and Calibration inspections.
* Complete administrative duties and monitor learners’ progress throughout their learning journey; create training needs where appropriate.
* Liaise with admin to confirm ordering of tools, equipment and uniforms; hand out new kits to new patrols.
* Ensure all required training documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
* Maintain the training venue at Stechford and be onsite for deliveries ahead of planned training.
* Own the van audits as per agreed schedule, including LOLER inspections and manual handling observations.
* Liaise with Team Leaders and inspection company to manage calibration of tools and equipment, and manage any data portals associated with relevant inspections.
* Liaise with lead patrols on any issues raised and arrange for tools and equipment that need replacing or repairing.
* Own the vehicle decommissioning process and ensure vehicles are prepared for repurposing; arrange repairs and maintenance as required.
What you’ll need
* Technical Knowledge — NVQ Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of car mechanics and vehicle technology.
* Roadside Experience — Preferred but not essential; hands-on vehicle repair or recovery experience would be beneficial.
* Health & Safety Awareness — Understanding of H&S regulations; formal qualifications preferred but not required. Ability to ensure best practices in all training and assessments.
* Attention to Detail — Ensuring all documentation, safety checks, and training processes are completed accurately and to the required standard.
* Organisational Skills — Ability to manage training documentation, monitor learner progress, and maintain accurate records of training, tools, and equipment.
