Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in the Horsham and Crawley area. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or domestic cleaning and will be responsible for maintaining clean rental and Airbnb domestic properties in the area. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and safe for all occupants.
Working Hours
Due to the inconsistency of bookings, you will have a flexible contract and be expected to be available between 11:00 and 16:00.
Occasionally, one off jobs or holiday cover may arise outside of the area.
If you wish to build up a schedule we can allocate you consistent and regular work.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
* Prepare beds and sofas as per client specifications, to a high standard.
* Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
* Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
* Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
* Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary.
Requirements
* Driving licence and your own vehicle.
* Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
