Care Home Chef Manager | Beechfield Lodge, Pendleton, Salford, Greater Manchester £30.5k per annum | 40hrs/week, 8am-6pm shifts | 4 days on, 3 days off | Every other weekend off

The Role We're looking for an experienced Chef Manager to take full ownership of our kitchen at Beechfield Lodge in Pendleton, Salford. You'll lead a kitchen team in delivering fresh, seasonal, home-cooked meals for 60 residents daily — overseeing everything from menu design and food budgets to team management and compliance.
This is a genuine leadership role with real autonomy, ideal for a Head Chef or senior Chef looking to step into a management position, or an experienced Chef Manager ready for a new challenge.
You'll have full creative control over seasonal menus, with the chance to enter our annual Chef of the Year competition.
What We're Looking For
1. Passionate about cooking from fresh, with the skills to deliver seasonal, balanced menus from scratch
2. Strong people management skills — able to lead, develop and motivate a kitchen team
3. Confident managing food budgets, ordering, and kitchen compliance
4. Sound understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 3 required, Level 4 preferred)
5. Right to work in the UK (required)
