We have a great opportunity for a Direct Marketing Assistant to join our busy and evolving Marketing Department based at our Head Office, Albany House in Eastbourne. Our Direct Marketing team play a key role raising the profile of our brands and services via telemarketing to support the growing direct marketing function for the business.
If you are self-motivated, highly organised and have exceptional communication skills both in person and over the phone then we would love to hear from you. You will be contacting new and existing customers to let them know of new branch openings, promoting new products, services and offers and sharing the Company’s vision to be the first choice for decorating materials. Using the information gained from building these relationships you will then use this knowledge to extend and maintain our Customer list.

As a Direct Marketing Assistant with Brewers, some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Making outgoing calls to both prospective and existing customers to introduce offers, products and services in their regions - new and existing
* Opening new accounts from successful prospect calls using the online process
* Highlighting the benefits and selling Brewers' products and services to customers
* Listening to objections and handling them effectively
* Creating and maintaining prospective customer lists
* Liaising with Head Office Departments, Branch Managers, Regional Managers and colleagues to share customer feedback or requests when necessary
* Creating and sending mailings to individuals or in bulk to existing and prospective customers
* Producing regular performance reports as required

* Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
* Highly articulate and confident in striking up conversations with the ability to lead conversations and put customers at ease

* Perceptive with the ability to judge a situation and take lead of a situation
* Enjoys working and supporting a team with the initiative to work as an individual at all times
* Excellent organisational skills
* Exceptional attention to detail skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately to a high standard
* Confident with Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level
* Keen to learn and develop skills
