Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products thats quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Technical team.
Role and Responsibilities:
* To liaise with contractors and arrange for site visits to ensure that work is carried out to expected standard.
* Carry out maintenance on equipment during non:planned and planned maintenance shuts in a timely manner
* Analysis of breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent re:occurrence.
* Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification or equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
* Carry out maintenance on all equipment across the site including conveyors, pumps, cranes, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
* Working at height and be part of the rescue at height team (Full training and PPE will be provided)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* NVQ3 / HNC In Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree
* 18th Edition
* Plastics / Food / Packaging / Warehouse industry experience within a Electrical Maintenance position
* PLC fault finding : Siemens
* Experience of medium and low voltage systems
* Experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Strong knowledge of Variable speed drives, AC and DC, picking cranes, conveyor systems instrumentation and pneumatics
