Senior Architectural Technician Job in Haslemere, Surrey
Our client, an independent architectural practice, has a now available. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the senior team, leading projects and providing technical support to colleagues. Located in Surrey, our client is a vibrant and agile practice comprising six professionals. Serving various regions including Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, and London, they offer a diverse range of design and construction services. Their projects span from £500,000 to £5 million, encompassing residential, commercial, and educational sectors.

Role & Responsibilities
1. Take a lead role in the running of projects
2. Working on the production of technical drawing packages
3. Speaking directly with clients
4. Taking personal ownership of projects and being the point of contact for the project
5. Working on projects mainly from stage 4 onwards
6. Liaising with other team members, contractors, and third parties on a regular basis
7. Producing accurate detailed information
8. Attending site.
Required Skills & Experience
9. Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in the relevant sectors
10. Ability to work independently
11. MCIAT accreditation is highly desirable
12. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
13. A technical test will be part of the interview process
14. Experience of running projects and experience of onsite delivery
15. Ability to deal with design issues finding innovative solutions
16. Love of architecture and keen to embrace new techniques and technologies
17. A background working in residential, or education would be advantageous
18. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues,
19. Be within 45 minutes of commute of the business.
