Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take the lead on cutting-edge maritime projects?
TKMS ATLAS UK is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to drive the design and integration of electrical systems across our advanced sonar, submarine, and autonomous technology programmes.
Leading the design and development of electrical systems for complex maritime products
• Producing and reviewing schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable assemblies
• Supporting integration, testing, and commissioning activities
• Coaching and mentoring junior engineers to grow team capability
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, including power distribution and control systems
• Experience with CAD tools and CE/UKCA directives
• Familiarity with EMC, electrical safety, and industry standards
• PLCs, motor control, or automation knowledge (desirable)
